PARENT 411 MEETING TO BE HELD TUESDAY, SEPT. 27 FROM 5:30 – 6:30 P.M.
Sept. 19, 2016, Cadiz, Ky. – All parents/guardians of Trigg County Public Schools’ students are invited to attend a Parent 411 meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 27 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. in the High School Little Theater. During the meeting parents will learn about the new grading practices implemented by the Board of Education. Title 1 funded programs will also be discussed.
“In July the Board of Education adopted a 10-point grading scale,” said Beth Sumner, assistant superintendent of instruction. “That was the first step in a process to move completely to standards-based grading. Since this is so new for all of our students and parents, we want to offer an opportunity for them to learn more about how standards-based grading works.”
At the end of the meeting there will be time for questions and answers. For questions about the meeting, call the Board of Education office at 270-522-6075.
