Mission Statement:
The mission of Trigg County Public Schools is to provide a comprehensive educational experience that prepares each student for success in his/her pursuits after high school graduation. We commit to preparing each student for his/her next career step and for each graduate/student to both understand and accept individual responsibility as a contributing member of a democratic society. We believe Trigg County Public Schools must operate as an educational partnership with students, schools, families and the community to create and sustain a learning environment where all stakeholders embrace academic excellence and each student pursues academic excellence.

Goals:
Short-term: To meet all thresholds established by KERA and NCLB for the upcoming biennium and to move from the 17th district in academic performance in West Kentucky to a “Top 10” school district by the end of the upcoming biennium (Spring 2008).
Intermediate: To meet all thresholds established by KERA and NCLB and move from the 17th district in academic performance in West Kentucky to a “Top 5” school district by the end of the 2009 – 2010 academic school year.
Long-term: To meet all thresholds established by KERA and NCLB and move the district from the 17th district in academic performance in West Kentucky to the “highest performing” school district in West Kentucky by the end of the 2013 – 2014 academic school year.
