Changes to Primary and Intermediate Drop Off and Pick Up Procedures

Drop Off

We have made changes to the Primary and Intermediate Student Drop Off and Pick-Up Procedures.  Please make sure to read the following and follow these new guidelines to ensure student, staff, and parent safety and all processes are done in a timely and efficient manner:

Primary and Intermediate Morning Student Drop-Off

All vehicles will need to enter the entrance between Becky’s Salon and Foundations Primary Care. The first vehicle that arrives will need to pull all the way down Lane 1 through the drop off circle and wait until staff signals for the release of students beginning at 7:25 a.m. Students should exit the passenger side only. Drivers shall wait for staff to release the vehicles to proceed to the exit. As the drop-off line fills the drop-off circle, additional vehicles shall stage using the gravel parking lot between the stadium and the doctors’ offices. These lanes should be filled from the far left beginning with Lane 1. Once Lane 1 fills, then the next vehicle will begin Lane 2, creating a staggering effect one vehicle less than preceding lane to allow for vehicles to fill the additional lanes. This process will repeat until all vehicles are through the drop-off.

Primary and Intermediate Afternoon Pick Student Pick-Up

All vehicles will need to enter the entrance between Becky’s Salon and Foundations Primary Care no earlier than 2:15 p.m. (This time will be enforced by our SROs). The first vehicle to arrive will need to keep to the far left lane (Lane 1) and pull all the way up to the main driveway (Do not enter the main driveway). Each vehicle coming in afterwards will pull in behind the preceding vehicle, closing the gap between vehicles as much as possible. Once the far left lane (Lane 1) is full to the end of the painted line, then the next driver will simply start the next lane to the right of the first lane creating a staggering effect one car less than the previous lane. This will allow for vehicles to fill the additional lanes. This process will continue until all lanes are full.
